Lucy Garland, Home Lucy Garland- Artistic Director, Performer

Lucy has a passion for accessible interactive theatre. As Seeing Beyond she performed at schools in East Anglia and ran regular weekly sessions at Shorefields School in Clacton. Lucy has many years of experience working as a freelance actor and street performer and was a regular performer with Hocus Pocus Theatre and co-ran The Theatre of Escapades a company providing outrageous characters for events, cabaret nights and festivals. Lucy also worked as a facilitator running projects in schools, pupil referral units, with the youth offending team and at theatres and as a role player for medical role play company Cast.

From 2007- 2014 Lucy worked as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities at Independence Matters, Norwich. During this time she acquired training in safeguarding, total communication, mental capacity act, intensive interaction, sign along, moving and handling and first aid.

Amber Onat Gregory, Home Amber Onat Gregory- Artistic Director, Performer

Amber worked under the name of Tell me a Tale from 2007-2012. During this time she performed multi-sensory shows at SEN Schools in London, Plymouth, Dubai, Turkey and Perth (Australia). She ran drama workshops at prisons, as well as an employment focused drama project Act on Employment at HMP Exeter. Tell me a Tale ran an Arts, Music and IT programme at Perth Immigration Detention Centre introducing art programmes, regular world music gigs, guitar and IT lessons for individuals seeking asylum in Australia, and set up a volunteer visitors programme at the centre. In the UK she facilitated drama workshops at YarlsWood and Colbrook detention centres. Whilst in Australia in 2010 Amber received funding to train local artists in making multi-sensory theatre for audiences with learning disabilities which resulted in Sensorium Theatre, the first theatre company to make theatre for audiences with learning disabilities in Australia. In 2019 Amber presented a paper at the Creative Futures conference in Riyadh.
