Lucy Garland – Artistic Director, Performer, Technical Trouble Shooter
Lucy has a passion for accessible interactive theatre. Alongside Frozen Light Lucy runs Seeing Beyond which creates sensory storytelling shows for special schools throughout East Anglia and beyond. Lucy has many years of experience working as a freelance actor and street performer and regularly performs with Hocus Pocus Theatre (you might have seen her sporting a fabulous beard) and The Theatre of Escapades (Rapping Grandma’s anyone?) Lucy also facilitates workshops with children and young people.
Lucy loves going to gigs and is rarely seen without a piece of vegan cake in her hand.
Amber Onat Gregory – Artistic Director, Performer, Social Media Guru
Amber loves to create arts opportunities for those who find the arts a challenge to access. She does this through Tell me a Tale (www.tellmeatale.org) which is a charity dedicated to creating theatre in numerous community settings such as schools, prisons, hospitals and detention centres. Amber chose to study and work in the theatre sector after watching productions that told powerful stories about people and society and became interested in theatre as a tool for activism. She is excited to be a part of Frozen Light not only to create ground breaking sensory theatre but also to establish more access in theatre venues for audiences with profound disabilities. As a seasoned traveller Amber has also facilitated drama projects in Australia, Turkey and Dubai and hopes that one day Frozen Light will tour internationally.
When she’s not performing Amber lives on the internet where she hopes to meet people who are interested in our work.
